C2K and Jargon Are Under Review for iOS
Update: Apple has approved both apps. C2K and Jargon are now available on the App Store.
Apple is now reviewing the native iOS versions of C2K and Jargon for public release on the App Store.
C2K began on Android as my free, open-source Couch to 5K and 10K trainer. I later built a native Swift and SwiftUI version for iPhone, took it through internal testing, and submitted it for public release.
Jargon, my offline reader for the Jargon File, now has a native iOS version too. Like the Android app, it puts more than 2,300 entries on the device for browsing, searching, cross-references, and favorites without requiring a network connection.
Both apps keep the same principles as their Android versions: no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. They are small tools that do their jobs without collecting anything about the people who use them.
Public App Store links will become available after Apple completes its review. If Apple approves both apps, the next update will be the simple one: anyone with an iPhone can download them.
