C2K Is Now Available on the App Store

C2K is now available on the App Store.

C2K began as the running app I wanted for Android: free, open source, and private. After releasing it through F-Droid and Google Play, I built a native Swift and SwiftUI version for iPhone. Apple has approved that version, and anyone with a compatible iPhone can download it now.

The same idea on iPhone

The iOS app includes all six training programs, covering a gentle introduction to running through 5K, 10K, and longer sessions. During a workout, C2K provides voice or vibration cues and keeps the timer running when the screen is off. Lock screen and Control Center controls let you check the current interval or pause a workout without unlocking the phone.

GPS tracking for distance and pace remains optional, and treadmill mode works without it. Workout history and progress stay on the device. The app works offline and has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking.

The first App Store release supports English, French, Galician, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. It requires iOS 17 or later.

Getting C2K

C2K remains free software under the GNU General Public License v3. If you have been waiting for the iPhone version, you can download it now.
